Clutch is an AI startup for racquet sports. I joined as its first high-school hire and stayed three terms.

Broadcast padel footage moves the camera constantly, so before you can say anything useful about where a player is standing you have to know where the court is — and the court keeps moving. I trained a heatmap-based Modified TrackNet to find the court keypoints, then used homography to map any frame back to a fixed plan of the court.

That model runs in production for 40,000 users across 100 clubs, and feeds the pipeline behind roughly 150 million highlight views. I also built a RAG pipeline over transcripts and segmented clips, so a coach can ask about a shot and get an answer tied to a player’s own stats.
